When its all said and done, todays sofla event might be bigger than the midwest event. There is a low moving across the gulf, giving us rain and choking the moisture feed for the midwest system.
NWS Miami @NWSMiami
@NWSWPC has placed all of South Florida in a Marginal Risk (1 of 4) of excessive rainfall. This means that isolated flash flooding is possible, especially in vulnerable urban locations.
Why are we discussing FL weather in here at all? Totally irrelevant.

Seems like a win for a big chunk of this sub considering the pressure gradient. If two weeks ago i said he you get a white xmas and 50 mph winds, you would have been doing back flips.
I'm not sure I'd say a big chunk when the majority of the Ohio valley misses out on this run! Hoping it trickles back east or my dreams of a white Christmas may be shattered. Last one we had was in 2010!

Thought this one might draw you out!
It's rare for Indy to see a white Christmas. Doing my annual forum crawl as well after seeing the models lol.

Indy nearing 2 inches of ice from gfs lol. Seems like its going to be big snow or worst ice storm ever here
Lets hope for option #1!

Ice this morning, now a thunderstorm with hail. I love Spring!

I haven’t been this excited about a storm in years! Our local stations are still only calling for 3-4 inches here in Indy. I have a feeling quite a few people are going to wake up surprised Tuesday morning!

I'm starting to feel like if a model ignores Central Indiana's existence, that's the one to trust.

Yeah I'm not sure why anyone gets excited about models that far out. Looking like a bust for Indy.. the one year I don't have to go to work and could actually enjoy it!

Good ol' central Indiana bubbles.

Duh! I forgot all about that one since it was such a narrow path of snow and we got whiffed on it. I'm thinking the official total was somewhere around 10 and half inches
We normally do a little better than Indy, and we're only a mile west! Not sure why but I'll take it!

I'll check later unless someone else knows, but it seems like at least 3 years since IND had a 6" snow.
We had 13" in the March 2018 storm. But before that we had a pretty big dry spell.

This storm looks a lot bigger than it did last night.
