Nothing but rain here for the past hour. Was hoping the unexpected sleet earlier would usher in some snow. (Rockfish NC)

EDIT: As soon as I submitted this the sound of sleet drew me to window...sleet snow mix now.

Radar has shown light rain all day....but we've just had occasional sprinkles off and on until about 45 minutes ago. As soon as it started back at that time, light sleet came with it....still is. Most unexpected!

Edit to add: Just walked outside...mostly sleet now.
