Thank you. Shouldn’t let people get to me, but at times it happens.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your thoughts on what you think will happen. Too many have chased off a number of the mets, so I'd like to make sure you understand how appreciated you are by those of us that take it in and try to learn from what you write.:)

How are you faring in Chapel Hill?  Sounds like one was up by Weaver Dairy off of 40 and another up by 86.   I am down by Southpoint and it has been very quiet here so far, except for all the Tornado warnings on the phones and weather radio.

I'm south of CH and nothing happened here so far. News is showing damage in Hillsborough near the hospital.

Official highest gust at Wilmington is 105mph. Off to the southwest she goes, probably get back over water in Brunswick county.  Bad news for Holden Beach, my family vacation spot for 25 years straight.

We've had a home there for the past 40 years. I so hope that it makes it through this.

I'm not saying I trust it more, just that a fairly close brush with the coast seems instinctively to be the more likely outcome. I'm simply speculating though, so I guess this probably isn't the place to do so.

Since you are part of the Southeast, try the regional discussion here. That would work better there than here.

Yeah, looks like the transition has stalled and has even pushed a little bit back west. Hopefully temporarily. RAH said the transition would occur in Raleigh between 1-2 and then all the way to Rocky Mount by 3. It's going to have to start moving quickly to do that...

Yeah, beginning to think it's not going to make it.
