Man would love to see what Robert would have had to say about this storm. The guy was amazing during my lurking days and i learned alot from his discussions
He has it on fb and his website.

History has told me there is nothing realistic about Greensboro getting 23" but would love to see it
2000 Greensboro had 20 inches. We went there and plowed. Unreal

Dude, it's one run of one model. If this is what it shows 36 hrs before the event, then sure. Right now, I feel like there's a greater chance of a cold rain for central NC than anything else.
Statement of the winter for sure

Who knows..... It's obviously flawed. No way my area sees over 20 inches of snow. I haven't looked at the QPF to see if it even has that much precip falling in the storm.
Always figure half of what accumulation map shows and that will be just fine with me

31 here now. 5 miles north of winston

33 here

The map shows march 29 because that is the total snow from now until March 29. However, all of that falls Saturday night/Sunday morning.
your right I was driving when I looked at it. Sorry about that

RAH is also mentioning the possibility. They have added snow/rain to the grid forecast as well. Crazy

Good if no snow hoping for drier weather

Amazing how time flies as I keep counting the B-Days. Seems like yesterday in my mind along with alot of other things. Cant imagine our wx boards during a superstorm1993 or Carolina crusher event. Heck even all those late 90's cat 3 LFs on our coast.
Anyway we need some more wiggling and luck outside mtns in NC, buts its just as doable as it is undoable. next 2 to 3 (12hr) model cycles will be telling. Maybe we can all get one more bump from winter before the sweat season locks in for 6 months.
I won't say who called this several weeks ago. They mentioned the possibility when everybody laughed. We shall see if they are right

SUNDAY/ MONDAY exactly 25 years ago , as I graced the hallow grounds of Cullowhee. I expeierenced my first true Blizzard and 1 foot plus snowfall. Will this Sun/ Mon event ring in the 25th yr anniversary of the great 1993 Superstorm with reminder of how great a wound up March storm can be?
yes sir I remember it well. Was 21 years old plowing on a tractor with no cab LOL. Came a long way since then

Plus, it'll be easy to survive the next two weeks, since they will be warm after this weekend. All the cold is coming mid month or later, remember!?
I will take whatever we get. If we get more snow great if we don't that's ok we have made plenty on a year that most everybody said we wouldn't get much of anything because of la nina. La Nina lol one of the best winters in a while. Last la nina was good for us as well.

Plenty more plowing will be done. Even got to put a little salt out this morning. Winter is far from over as February looks good from most all forecasters

We have about as much of a chance at getting a snowy last half of Feb, as the Tarheels have of beating State!
This is why I don't watch every model run and only listen to the professionals. also I have always been a Virginia fan and we beat UNC and Duke at Duke.

Deal! My statement above stands above for Fab Feb! GFS was a dumpster fire
Maybe you want get anything but NC will. I will have about 200 bags of pre emergent if you come up short.

Birds only count when they fly over Wilkesboro!
JB bumbling and stumbling about cold, imagine that!? I better trade in my preemergent for a pallet of ice melt! Powerstoke better ready up the plows and plan on heading North. I have dandelions blooming, saw robins today, winters over!
Probably have chick weed and henbit to. They are perennial weeds that will pop out when temps above 60 for a couple of days. Get you some speedzone you will be fine. No need for me to go North I made plenty last week to sit back and relax and take Big Frost out to eat. However thank you for the concern.

In weather, yes!! I think you like him pretty good!! You seem to know what he says all the time!!! Then criticize what he says..................... lol
I think a lot of us will have at least a couple more chances at a Winter Storm before spring!
Yep he knows more about him than you do frost and you have JB site. Lol he doesn't tweet all of that either.
