Regarding DT's map...yeah, the northern cutoff of precip is going to be very sharp.  Wouldn't be surprised if the 6" snow line ends up south of us (in other words, south of Spring Mount and Collegeville), based on the 12z suite pushing everything further south vs. previous runs.

I have been saying 4-8 since Monday morning, and staying with that barring another shift to the south

DT's first call, way too high for areas up north in my opinion 

Steve D is insufferable and predictable. He is always on the cold/snow side of things, and when models trend against him, he "takes a break" or "takes a nap" for a cycle so he can see if things came back into his favor. Now today he needs a reason to go missing for a but because he is still forecasting a more wintry scenario, so he tweets that he is "receiving violent threats" and needs to protect his family. So dramatic.

He lowered his snow totals an hour ago...
