Time for a new winter thread and lets hope there will be plenty to talk about.  By the way, for the first 11 days of November, only three other days had high temperatures colder than yesterday at Richmond. Those days were 11/11/1987 (36°F), 11/6/1953 (38°F) and 11/11/1913 (41°F). Interestingly, the first two occurred on dates with two of the largest November snowfalls at RIC.
