Last night's gfs and euro ensembles showed a similar pattern over the U.S. in the day 10 time range. Both showed a negative PNA and a negative NAO. Both show the ridge in the pacific with plenty of amplitude with a strongly negative PNA look while also showing high heights over Greenland and an area of lower heights to its south close to the 50n 50W position that weenies love.
