Some smoke (from Quebec) has been drifting across our area. This will continue peaking this evening before some improvement tomorrow. There is a small chance of a shower today but not likely, Near normal temps for the rest of the week before warming to above normal by the weekend. There continues to be some signs of a pattern change starting Sunday that may lead us to more typical rain pattern across the county.
Records for today: High 99 (1899) / Low 38 (1958) / Rain 2.65" (1928)

Was wondering what was up with the notifications and checked my radar and should have known!

Those cells look like they will probably miss me to the southwest (unless something else bubbles up).

The sun did manage to come out later this morning although there has still been a haze and air quality alert was just announced for tomorrow too.

Currently a dry 81 with hazy skies and dp 53.

Just sent in a report to the NWS. Was a great storm here. Gusty, drenching rain, and got hail cored. Saw the VIL radar and knew there had to be something, was expecting pea size (0.25" but got up to 0.5")

I think I might be next... Ooh, might be the first, real shot for enjoying a beverage on a lawn chair in the garage of the season!
