Dude we live by Great Lakes, it’ll be okay this isn’t Phoenix. Wasn’t that long ago they were full to the brim

Exactly. If we're going to endure 6 months of gray shitty weather, let us bask in the fact we have ZERO water issues. We're pretty much the least freshwater deprived place on earth.

Unless your like the Soviets draining the Aral Sea. Glad to live by water and also glad the border states and Canadian provinces agree to keep it within those regions. As much as I love Cali and the west it’s getting too populated

For now, it wasn't that long ago that we were at record lows in the lakes and had water restrictions and wells drying up.

Reports of smoke smell in St Claire, Macomb, and Oakland counties. Fires in Quebec and one in particular in Ontario NW of Manitoulin island have expanded quite a bit. Curious to see the GOES satellite images tomorrow morning

I should have named this the Smoke & Drought thread

HRRR actually has tomorrow morning even worse, this is just not good. Hopefully we don't get as bad as out east where it looks like Hell right now.

I have no idea how long-range HRRR handles smoke but Friday morning looks like it could be bad particularly in Ohio, but also Southern Michigan and Northern Indiana.
