Yeah looks about on par for those who usually wait later into May before needing them. Instead of the second week of April or so.

I consider the regional differences, though. CT I'd install earlier, esp. S CT.  Lord knows they are a different climate.

Honestly I almost never use A/C. dehumidifiers, air filter, and fans. During winter I keep the heat lower and use humidifier.  It feels like Florida, plus the clean air.

Yeah for sure… I mean we all know the install thing is, what do they call it in entertainment, “a bit?”  Same with the Stein stuff… sort of the forum’s bit.

All in jest, but in reality I’ll alternate A/C to heat whenever needed… even back-to-back days.  I’m with Pickles, just do whatever makes one comfortable and it’s no badge of honor to not turn on heat because it’s May… or not use A/C because it’s April.

I considered putting a tarp over all of tomato and veggie seedlings overnight, but considering that I just paid $200 for them (because I didn’t get my seed starting done back in February) I decided not to take the chance.

Average last frost date here is May 10 but we’re a week past that - grass came out and grew much faster than normal, usually can get by without mowing the lawn for the first time until nearly June, so I got lulled into complacency by that - but I guess nobody told Mother Nature…
