Got completely shafted here, as everything split right around us. Just a couple scattered drops. Tell ya what, this ultra dry air we’ve been stuck under has led to a number of misleading radar estimates lately.  As others have mentioned, orange often means light rain, if that.

Just spent almost 2 hours watering my yard.  Sad.

I did the same the one night, not that it matters much. Damn Lancaster put a burn ban in place just in time for our annual summer party too ugh.

In my eyes we are keeping the stuff alive even if it is browning.   I thought grass would never die until 2020 so now I water brown grass.  Sucks about the burn ban....It is cool out a fire would feel pretty decent.

Nothing at all here, but I did get something back on Tuesday.

NWS says 1-2in rain possible Monday, tv27 isn't too optimistic. They say just a front passage. And some will only get a few drops. Talk about a discrepancy.
Tv27 likes to wait till 5 min before an event to give a firm forcast.

They finally checked the models I guess.

Checking in from Dry Gulch...

46 here this AM.   Pretty incredible as to this string of mid to upper 40's.

So I guess your going with the lower totals too. Finished with .29 yesterday. I have 044 for the month so far. Last month for May total was .55.
