In the words of the great Henry Patrick - "Give me 12"-24" of snow, or give me torch"

With no chance of any significant snow in the the short term, I am honestly disappointed there's no sign of any sustained warmth. Screw any pity flakes that only adds salt to the wounds of our season of disappointments. Relying on a favorable pattern mid-March for a slight possibility of something popping up? ...why at that point? Does it add to next year's totals?

Can I request that Weather Will stop referring to models as "WB Euro" or "WB GFS" or whatever, especially when posting images of H5? They're just the Euro or GFS or CMC or any other model depiction. Except maybe for the algorithms used for snowfall, It's not as if one site shows something different than another.

Pedantic, I know.

While we're at it, I wish he'd stop using OZ.   Like, Are we going to the Land of Oz or is this an 0z model?

I actually think I’d rather have a standard snowstorm than a HECS at this point. Would rather save the latter for the colder months and not have to deal with snow covered ground into April. Trails are all in great shape…and basketball courts aren’t covered.

I agree with Terp that the biggest issue seems to be not so much about whether a pattern change occurs, but that we’re up against the clock/climo. We’re at a time of year where it doesn’t want to be below freezing for too long. Gonna need some really good timing to get a storm beyond mid-March. TBD

Really just banter but this would be such a wonderful way to end this winter. Early Red Buds and Magnolias popping against a backdrop of white. Bringit.

I don't understand the people coming in here rooting for warmth.  We haven't had (Chris Farley voice) JACK SQUAT the whole winter!  I would agree to bring on spring if things looked marginal but this is probably our best shot all 'winter.'
