This has come a LONG way just over the past 48 hours - still work to do...but the players are on the field:

Yes, good to see the GEFS coming towards the great looks the the Canadian & Euro ensembles have been showing for a few days.

This could be a really fun period to track.

Amazing numbers for the 1958 storm Paul...wasn't it not far from your location that Morgantown received something like 50" from that storm?

Imagine getting 19" and feeling like you missed out.

Where I live today is less than 8 miles from Morgantown....no doubt I would have recorded at least 40" from that one if I were here and alive at the time

It’s reassuring to know that if any model spits out 30” in our general area, Blizz will be posting it. That’s world class consistency!

Lol, I give the people what they want!

Most of us on here love the weather in general, but let’s be real…most of us are here to track snow.

That 0z Canadian was too good not to post. The Op models & ensembles are ramping up the potential for next weekend.

Back to today for a moment, the 6z GFS & 3k NAM have a little snow for the western LSV & a WWA is posted for most of the rest of CTP today.

If that modeled sleet bomb for the MSV cones to fruition, it will be something to behold.  Cold be 1-2" of just sleet.  It is during dark hours' time unfortunately.  Snow during the daytime.
