One big difference between my totals closer to Tysons and Matt's is in March 2013.  My few hundred feet pulled through twice with 4"+ storms while DC was mostly wet.  I seem to have a big advantage in 2013/14 also.  I'm a little sad that I can't round out a top-ten with 6"+ storms yet.

Another reminder of the Feb 2014 debacle in DC. Changed over maybe 3 am and that was basically it.  Maybe 1" of slop on the backend.

That was a good one here.  Just pounding in the middle of the night.  Clumps of flakes big enough to make shadows on the ground in the streetlights.

I forgot about 1/21/14 being good in the burbs.  I got 4.5" but I think people topped 8"?

I honestly don't remember that one at all.  My notes say that we had good ratios and it was cold by the end of the event.

1/21 was warm in the morning. I got most of my snow on the back end.  Burbs got under really good bands with the front running so scored earlier.  Dulles got 8.5"

Your city snow photos remind me of the so many fun NYC snowstorms from the last decade.  This is from Feb 2014 - there might be nothing more peaceful than Manhattan in the middle of a snowstorm.

Yeah. I always liked snow in NYC.

This was Feb 14 2014 at 1 pm at 15th and H where I was working at the time. It was a shit ton of snow and sleet and slop. I got 9”. Where you live now probably got 12-15”.

Yeah we got about 12-13" in Tenleytown for that storm. Real good back end action at dusk, IIRC.

We were up in Manhattan around New Year's in 2014 and got around 7-8", mostly overnight. Two poor ladies from London had somehow gotten lost; I helped them to get back to their hotel, they were not dressed for the occasion. A bitterly cold airmass followed. (What a winter NYC had that year.) Took our daughter to the top of the Empire State Building the next day. We could see forever with that clear air mass but, damn, it was cold. The same daughter who's now up in Central NY at college enjoying 8" snows every other week and lived through a -20 below night in a dorm where the heating was ... suboptimal.
