So you revolve around working in this crap rather than do something fun on your own time in good weather.  Makes no sense, but ok

I don't like hot and humid weather

Hoodie weather is the best and yes you can still have fun in this weather.

NJ came close to the all-time record number of 90° and 100° days this summer. The average summer high temperature in NJ was 2nd warmest on record at 86.5°. The minimums were further down on the list due to the drier conditions and lower dewpoints.

The sea breeze front was to our north this summer so the 100s in NYC were limited interior Brooklyn and Queens. Same goes for the higher number of 90° days. We need westerly flow like in 2010 to get a record number of 90s and 100s for our area. Even without a record number of 90s and 100s, the average summer high finished behind 2010. So plenty of days in the upper 80s to boost the highs.

Also goes to show how hot the back to back years of 2010-2011 really were.

I hope we get back to that (and more like the era of the 1990s when we had the most high 90 degree days)....having drier summers would be a nice first step.

But this time of year "nice" weather is neither hot nor humid.  Anyone who would take this weather over 70° and sunny has to be lying lol.

Next week looks great after a slightly cooler weekend.

Is this still technically Ian, or did a new low develop offshore? It looked like Ian died inland and a new low developed from Its energy offshore. I don’t know this stuff as well as many of you but I’m curious.

And I guess there’s a near absence of steering winds aloft to move this out and hence the stall / stationary movement?
