This Afternoon

Friday
Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Areas of blowing snow after 4pm. High near 33. Breezy, with a west wind 11 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 12 to 18 inches possible.
Friday Night
Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Areas of blowing snow between 7pm and midnight. Low around 24. West wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches possible.
Saturday
Snow. Areas of blowing snow. High near 30. Breezy, with a south wind 17 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Saturday Night
Snow, mainly before 1am, then a chance of snow showers after 1am. Low around 22. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Let’s see what the EPS has to say a little later.

One thing to say about the EC is that is not a total a strike out for a future run.   The juice is there, and the pattern would bring it this way if a trigger can come along.

Forgot to post this pic from going hunting yesterday morning. This is from Rothrock State Forest in NW Huntingdon Co.

The snow shrunk a good bit of course, but there is still a majority of the ground that has a pack today here. Also received an inch of new snow in the early morning hours today from the LES/upslope.

You have heard it before, but I will not shy away, the Great Valley.  LOL.  It is a rain killer for pop up storms and pipeline for the tropics when warm air is coming.  But when there is a tucked Monster off the Del Mar Va this place is golden for snow.
