Interesting data review below from Chris Martz. "There has been NO measurable increase in the average per year number of days ≥90°, ≥95° and ≥100° across all 69 long-term, open northeastern GHCN stations I analyzed for this data"

What about the number of days above 32F? The cool season has seen the bulk of the warming.

Another nice day in Sea Isle with a Phillies banner flying....now if they would only mix in a win today!!

Horrible day to have that fly by, lost last 2 to Gabe and the Giants out west. Pitching matchup doesn't favorite us today as well....may watch the movie instead if the game gets out of hand.

*Philly 91F/ 47th day 90F+

Last year my last >90°F day was 8/30/21. Today we hit 92.1. Hopefully the long term forecast is correct (ha!) and we stay below 90 for  the rest of the year.

Seeing lots of "heat lightning" from the storms to my NW. Today's forecast was an absolute bust. I don't have much confidence in tomorrow, either. How much you wanna bet they walk our chances for rain way back again?

Nice cell to your far NNW w/.5 hail.

Really can't see us getting shut out/limited w/rain over the next couple days. Anything less than  1" would be disappointing. Means nothing NBC10 had projected total precip in Philly 3"-4" range....burbs 2"-3". Hopefully Monday night/Tuesday is a washout.

After a low of 68 Sunday morning, I did make it to 90 as a high, which was a bit of a surprise. That made #1 for September and #35 since May.  Met summer ended up with 31 days of 90+ (Jun/Jul/Aug). Contrast with last year where 90+ was 30 days but clustered differently (33 incl. May).

Currently mostly cloudy and 71 with dp 68.

Bottomed out at 71 this morning and made it up to 88 as a high (which might have hit 90 if it hadn't been overcast on and off much of the day).

It's currently cloudy and 83 with dp 67.  The rain band looks wide and solid out west but we'll see how much survives of the front edge of it this evening and overnight before the main event (supposedly) gets underway tomorrow.

Enjoy the rain everyone.   I'll be back tomorrow night after it ends (of course), while I actually bake down here.  lol

Yuck! Looks like it's only 82 in Turnersville, and the good news is that it was 84 here in Reading, now down to 69 after the rain started. Speaking of which, we've picked up .39" thus far but have been in a bit of a lull for the past hour. Getting some fall-like vibes here what with all the leaves that have already fallen due to the heat/dryness around here. Loving it.

Have .48" now. Looks like a dry slot has set up over Reading (as per usual lol).

Not sure if I received that much yet but definitely .25"+ so far.  The precip is progressing  W-E so it makes sense.

PSU radar showing some nice echoes which will fill in and we'll all see precip overnight as it moves E.

Just did a thorough cheap man's car/soap/wash on the car and hopefully the rinse comes soon...think we get drilled later tonight/early tomorrow.

75F/DP 69F muggy...and radar.

.25 inch here. Nothing to write home about. Not even close to a drought buster that's for sure.as this this storm is going the same way as the previous rain events this summer. SW  to NE flow with the Berlin Wall set up at the Blue Mt range with oour typical donut hole. If the heavy rains down in Md area regenerate overnight, we could see some heavier downpours tonight. Thats are only hope otherwise , the flood watch may be canceled. The worst part, no t- storms.
