-7 850s into upstate NY/VT Fri morning. There's going to be some legit SHSN in VT/N NH...could even get a mangled frozen hydrometeor here if anything can make it to the foothills. Just need that to verify.

2014 they were making snow blowing out the mice  at Sugarloaf and Sunday River. Let's do this and Rock a repeat

60F and rain.  0.40” so far today.

.74" so far today here.  Some thunder and lightning along with the rain rolling through right now. Drove through some heavy rain on my way back from the periodontist in S. Burlington.  40 mph with the flashers on between Waterbury and Middlesex.

BTV AFD feels it.  They know their audience up here more than anything else, ha.

“The aforementioned showers could easily continue into the evening and overnight hours which could pose an interesting forecast challenge. Snow. Yes, you read that correctly. Given 850 mb temperatures could be in the -4 to -6 range with mountain showers, we still believe there is a chance for some light snow above 3000 ft. Don`t break out the skis or snowboards just yet as it`s unlikely we see any accumulation at the higher peaks given the warm ground temperatures. It`s more a sign of the seasons changing than anything else.

Temperature has been hovering within a few tenths of 58 since 830 am this morning. 58.3 with some residual fog. Impressive temperature gradiant.

Hopefully we break out before the end of the day
