Streak Posted August 27, 2022 Share Posted August 27, 2022 79 and sunny with a light breeze here, just shy of 11 AM. Nearby Ambient stations show 66 for the dew point, but it feels lower than that, probably because of the breeze. Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful late-summer day. Streak Posted August 28, 2022 Share Posted August 28, 2022 It was cloudy and a few degrees cooler about 30 minutes ago when we first stepped outside, but the sun is now burning through this morning’s clouds and fog. It would be one thing if it was highs in the 70's and 80's but it is much warmer than that as a ridge sets up in the nations heartland and pumps warm Southwest air over us for days on end. Easily the hottest temps of the season....Mid 100's and the hottest temps ever in Sept as progged. It could not be much worse and the super heat the first full week of Sept is AFTER a mini heat run this coming week with mid 90's.
