Ir states peak winds of 15-25mph. That's not really much higher than a lot of days on OBX. Fortunately for the vacationers, the winds appear as if they are well below what the Hurricane Center was originally calling for.

I just found my new favorite website…

snow-forecast.com

Here is their most recent update:

SNOW NEWS UPDATED 29 JUNE 2022

INTRODUCTION After the big June snowfalls first in the Andes then Australia and finally New Zealand, over the first three weeks of June, the past seven days (the first of full wintertime by both astronomical and meteorological measures in the southern hemisphere) have been rather quiet for most ski areas around the world with just light snowfall, if any at all, reported for most. That said at least some fresh snowfall was reported on all six continents, up high in the northern hemisphere of course. The biggest snowfalls reported though over the past seven days have been in South America.

Good point on the wind…we had one really windy day when I was down there.

The rain would make it miserable, especially on the holiday weekend.

It’s a south of 30/north of 80 kinda day. Reminds me of winter.

Yup. Stuck in the middle again, although the cells near Bloomsburg are intriguing me. Looks like I have a possibility of getting some of that action based on current movement.

Right now waiting for the steam train to roll through Tamaqua.  I'll post a video later of it.

It's currently 90 here with a dewpoint of 72. Right now it feels nothing like a windows open kubd of night. LOL

DP should be in the 40's and 50's by daylight with temps in the 60's.  Rain is a fear though.    Not going to be a chilly night by any means.   @Itstrainingtime, your zone forecast is actually low 60's.  Not sure it gets that low but combine that with a DP of 50ish and it is sweet.

Anyone on right now, watch the current radar loop and see the Tamaqua Storm Killer in action.

Nice cell that's literally dying on approach...

This time it’s not just you - everything is dying off currently.

93 here. Maybe I’ll get rain Tuesday? Dry, dry, dry.
