I’m in Ross and have been out and about. Haven’t seen any outages or many trees even so did okay least around me.

I thought you were south of the city where the snow hole was last winter? North Pgh and I's readings are almost always consistent. Not trying to antagonize, just looking for a data point.

Of course, lol.  HAs hit 88, but dropped back to 87.  The temperature gauge out at that airport has to be calibrated wrong.

It was running even with or slightly ahead of AGC for most of the day, but AGC has since reached 91. Looks like the hourly obs at 2:51 was 89 so good chance we squeeze out another degree or two if we didn’t already at some point within the past hour.

89 is looking likely again.  Maybe an interhour reading touched 90, but this is really something crazy.

If I had to guess, too many 5-min obs of 90 to have not gotten there at least once, but I guess we’ll see in an hour or so.

Really could've used some of that rain up here around Butler proper.  Past few weeks all the systems leave a hole right on top of us, at least 1-2" below normal according to AHPS, hits Slippery Rock and Cranberry/Mars.  Don't want it to flood or get it all at once but I've been trying to dig a drainage ditch and hammer a clothesline spike into the ground but the dirt is hard as a rock.  All the grass I started in the spring is dead and gone, only dirt spots remain...can't win around here with this rainfall.

Farmer’s Almanac forecast just dropped. We’re on the edge of significant shivers, slushy, icy and snowy, and unreasonably cold and snowy. :clown:

Let's take it.  How many in a row is this that they've said that, lol.

What does unreasonably cold mean?

That infamous 89 is looking very probable today, lol.

Edit: Or 88.  Been stuck there for nearly 3 hours, with mostly sunny skies and SW winds.  Incredible stuff really.

It’s all good, we’ll get to 90 today. There’s no way rain and storms will hold us back, right?

Never, lol.  The potential for 3" is a surprise to me.  Heard that this morning and couldn't believe it.  Really hope that doesn't happen.

Pretty on par with yesterday temp-wise through noon, but yesterday didn’t have cloud cover and storms and still only hit 88. I think this is part of the system that dropped another half foot of rain on parts of Missouri overnight, so the chance of excessive rainfall is definitely there. WPC has us in a slight risk and there’s a flood watch out to our south and west where the ground is more saturated.
