Another reason not to be so wishful for severe weather...guess who needs a new roof now too?  I have pockmarks all over my shingles, it's bad.  Hope it's not too much a fight with state farm.

Yikes hope it works out.  I'll never forget the incredible base-ball sized hail that smashed the Kettering neighborhood in the Largo area.  I still remember the date July 10, 1978.  Every house needed new roofs (houses were just 9 years old at that point) and all windows facing west were shattered and people covered them with plastic.  It was disastrous.  Something about Kettering -- it also got a tornado in 1971 that took off roofs and destroyed carports.  I remember it clearly even though I was only 4.  I wonder if that's what started my interest in weather.

I remember that too.  Also remember the '71 tornado.  Two houses up from us was hit pretty hard.

A good reminder that it could always be worse (anxiously looks at radar).

Speaking of, finally getting some blue skies and sun out here at deep creek. I forgot what it looked like.

Yesterday was sneaky nice at DCL.  Had to open the windows on arrival to get some warm air in though.

The firewood is officially kicked off the front porch and replaced with the patio furniture.

Yep, especially compared to the monsoon in the morning. Today should feature some filtered sun at times.

Looking forward to tomorrow’s weather!
