Meso low moving N toward Western SC currently. New storms are firing ahead of that meso. Gusty winds could be a problem the next couple of hours.

Yeah I think we see storms firing all night really. We are going to have just enough stability.  Getting steady rain again currently from a little line of storms.

I know it’s been dry, but I’m a little surprised gsp hasn’t issued a flash flood watch.

It's because it's more of a steady rainfall instead of just a torrential nonstop rainfall. Like the other day with over 4 inches of rainfall here through Haywood the river didn't even budge upward which is a good thing.

Flood watch hoisted for the mountains foothills and ne Georgia through noon Friday. Looks like another solid soaking of 2-4 inches with possibly more for upslope areas. I'm not going to complain we need the rain down this way.

Yep. Looking down toward the Gulf, radar is lit up and all that moisture is headed in our general direction. I have a little over 5 inch for the week so far. Easily another 2 inches possibly more incoming. Flash back of Fred last year for some.
