A loud explosion type thunder just happened, damn, car alarms going off.

Others on North Wales FB described it as a explosion as well. Coolest thunder I ever heard...thought I was in Ukraine.

How about guidance coming full circle from forecasting a total toilet of a weekend five days ago, to looking not nearly as bad, now back to completely disgusting. NAM has temps once dropping into the 40's Friday they stay there all weekend into Monday, GFS almost. But not to be outdone the ECM spins the low off the east coast and keeps us under clouds and shower influence for 10 days lol.

Just like winters of yore, when the GFS would advertise a snowstorm a week+ out, take it away in the 3-7 day range, then bring it back in the final 48 hours.

Will we see sun today?? 59F

Probably best to tackle the lawn today w/the 50s and rain approaching for the next several days. It's growing like gangbusters and if I wait for the next "non rain opportunity" after today it will be up to my knees.

Sun doing its darndest to break through completely but not there yet...

That's exactly what it is. 14-18" with some areas near two feet.

Yep, all my neighbors in the cul-de-sac mowed theirs already today. I have to wait until after dinner, and then it's my turn.

My new John Deere was delivered yesterday, looks like it will spend it's first weekend in the garage. Oh well, I didn't want to get it dirty anyway :scooter:
