Looks like barring redevelopment snow should be pretty much over soon? Looks between 1.5- 2” here all on grassy/cold surfaces. Side roads have a layer of slush beginning to build but mostly just wet. Looks like the heaviest rates set up well n and w of 95 as some meso guidance was hinting last night.

If you look west to State College CWA, there is a whole band back that way and if any of it survives to move east intact, then there would be more.

Currently still holding at 32 with dp 31, but have all fine-flaked snow at the moment (no mix that I can detect).

There are now a bunch of 6 inch reports (spotter and "public") in Northampton County.

You have to look at KCCX and the band back west.  It has been pretty much sitting over that area so I don't know how far west it will go but I guess it depends on what the jet does...

Am currently "up to" 33 with dp 31 and light snow (but also dripping).

Maybe not...aside from LV.

Yeah, this baby is over. What little covered the pavement/road is wet now and only left with some lazy flakes. Drip..drip should be starting soon if it hasn't already.

31F/Lazy flakes

They were more due than us :D

True.

In all fairness every local outlet called for 1-3" which we received. It's the models putting us in the target zone at game time which failed is disappointing...

Yeah, overall another crap performance by the models. For most of the week they advertised this as another DE, south Jersey special and oops, it’s the NW crew that scores.

My snizzle has turned into flurries.

Interesting event. I recall at least some of the model guidance showing pronounced 700 mb or 850 mb FGEN farther northwest of I-95 and closer to the I-78 corridor, yet some were showing less snow. It is like what the model was showing at the surface was playing catch-up to the dynamics aloft. Colder air deeper farther west which placed that lift much better into the favored dendritic snow growth zone.

This was a nice show. Couldn't ask for a better way to end the season, if it's the end. Public Information Statement for Northampton County:

Just went outside to brush off the car and birds chirping. Already has a March/Spring event feel to it but the birds noise clinched it...

31F/Mod snow but it's melting faster than snowing. Rooftops which were covered are now bare and this more intense snow has no desire to stick...

Heard a woodpecker yesterday, certainly didn’t feel like Feb with that and the temps.
