way too cold - looking forward to the 60s later this week.

Same here. The younger Miss J has a show on Sunday and after freezing my can off at the past ones Sunday is looking positively balmy! I also have to wash a mane and tail and at least the hot water bucket I use my hands will not feel like they are on fire every time I dip them back in.

+1.2F at Deep Creek / Swanton this AM.  Up to 21*F now.

Big thaw incoming Weds / Thurs, weekend looks sunny and boring.

We’re hosting my family this weekend including 6 nieces and nephews who want to play in the snow.  Unfortunately it looks like the 5-6” that was left on the ground Sunday when we left will be gone on Thursday.  We’ll get some upslope Friday morning and might be able to sneak in some snow showers Saturday morning/afternoon by that NS disturbance tracking through NE, especially if we can get it 50 miles south.

Hopefully it works out OK.  WISP has been sold out of snow tubing for this weekend for a couple weeks already.  Happy they managed to salvage a decent season after a disasterous start.

We are on the fence this weekend with projects in flight in both places.  The mild wx argues for sticking closer to home.

KNAK way behind everybody else (52); but typical for this time of season

Feels warmer up here away from the water though, (Sorry I don't have an instrument at work)

The instrument I used has a k thermocouple as the probe so not the most accurate sensor for measuring relatively low temps. Could be off a degree or 2.
