Good to see some of the places that normally get screwed being under the death bands. There will be some crazy totals in a narrow area. If there hadn't been so much hype about the extreme possibilities a lot of people would just be happy to have a significant nor'easter. Its a wild day out there here in Worcester. We'll get somewhere between 8 and maybe 15 in the sweet spots. Average out in the 10-12 range. Good storm. Not historic, but good enough. 16/15 wind is outrageous here on my hill.

Someone from Randolph/Braintree/Weymouth/Hingham area has to have some absurd numbers. Not that it can really be measured though.

Radar precip estimates are useless in this, but can tell you the hardest hit areas…minus bright banding error.

Usually need to look at 2-day totals for Boston given how the measurements can occur across two days.

24.5” would be needed to get Boston into top 5 territory. 27.7” the all time record.

Not quite. 27.1 The 27.5" one was a farce.

Trying to hold on to the edge of the band but intensity is definitely lighter, as well as a drop in wind.  We were absolutely cranking from 10-1.

Seems like it's expanding west the last couple frames... but perhaps that's just a weenie radar hallucination
