3K did move east a bit so I am going to continue to like the 12k, NAM, and HRRR. B)

The HRRR is going through its seemingly every storm paddle initiation on the MA right now.  Less respected posters complain that it is not reliable before more respected posters come in to point out that it is as good as anything else.   It wins some, it loses some.

Now we should feel better about this thing coming.  My concerns of it headed back NW are shot in the arse...and I'm happy for it.  I'm out for the weekend.  Enjoy whatever we get.  Looks like a good thump here.

Won’t lose much lost. Heavy rates and true arctic air will win that battle.

.

Not much but not nothing either. I expect a brief period of rain and sleet when it first rolls in. Thinking at most a tenth of qpf lost and probably more like only a few hundredths. Either way a good show awaits us.

Yea...I started the Buick GN up and filled the Methanol injection reservoir full. Ready for late next week to take it out ...

But 1st things 1st ... Blizzard :D

Less interesting but I just walked around and put away the hoses I took out last weekend, put the A/C Cover back on, and covered the Pansies my wife has started watering.    I can protect them from the snow but maybe not the possible sub 10 degree temps Sunday AM.

ABC 27 just showed coating-2” west of Harrisburg and 2”-4” to the East of HBG.

Seems low?

.

That’s quite a disunity with warnings being posted. But in there defense going from c-2” to 4”-6” is a lot easier than going from even 4”-6” to 2”-4”. Human psychology is fickle, no need to make job harder.

Sterling ...

Guidance suggests that the low may deepen
on the order of 40-45 mb in 24 hours as it makes that trek from
Georgia to New Brunswick.

If it were not for the speed of the front ushering it out, we would be in line for a decade level event.   As it is I suspect someone East of me gets over a foot.   I heard someone in Martins (Giant) proudly exclaiming the snow will never lay on the roads.  Ha.
