Well we will need better from your 540 line...if I could put that request in?   One good piece of news is that the record high for Monday is 73 and I doubt MDT breaks 70  so we probably do not reach that one either.  No reason to add stamps of bad onto the winter so quickly.

Good trends on the 0z runs.

44 and sunny this morning.

Last evening's winds produced some lost shingles from my neighbor's roof down the road. There are multiple large branches down in my yard and I understand the river trail is closed in spots due to down trees across the trail.

That was a lot more wind than I've had from many a wind advisory...

That seems to be the way it rolls.  The warnings are the events that under produce.  40 and sunny here...feels like a 50's day.

This makes me happy. I know, I know ... sorry guys. Just don't want any hiccups with our cat sitters getting to our house to give Pixel her twice daily medicine. It keeps her breathing, so it's a bit important! :)

There is a guy in the Pitt thread, @Ahoff with a similar predicament as you.  Wants a "Get out of jail free" card on rooting for snow so they can travel.

In the Sierra they were under a Winter Weather Advisory last winter for snow showers, possibly heavy at times, accumulating 38" -46".

That was for the overnight...

I believe the big island summits in Hawaii are currently under a blizzard warning for “snow showers” accumulating a foot or more with 120 mph winds.

Yep agree.

On this subject, the Nam's have been too cool almost all summer and continue into the fall.  Definitely something to watch for if they are they only ones calling for an icing event on a future system.  Its been almost every day they are several degrees too cool.

I haven't notice that. Thanks for bringing this up.

Hey, I'm rooting for snow and travel.  It can be both, lol.  Just if I miss it, I'll be a little disappointed.

I know the feeling.  I travel to Florida every few months and it gets stressful, in the winter, watching digital snow on models that I may miss.   I fear I will miss the Blizzard of 2022!
