Could Thursday possibility leed to a long duration event with a small break Friday as follow up wave Saturday Sunday drops the hammer ?

I think that’s how the models originally depicted the event a few days ago — looked like the NAM was gonna pull something similar off for the southern parts of the subforum.

I’m not trying to discourage model analysis, but yours is incorrect way to often to give much credence to it. Obviously there’s more s/w energy held back from 18z…

I got the sense people were hoping the gfs would move more toward the euro than it did but your right no one said such thing. There are improvements on the gfs at h5 which is a positive.

Thats literally what it's doing right now.

It may not get to where we want it, but it has been trending toward the Euro.
