I'm at the old Gavins it's spring like

There was a place after Gavins which closed quickly. I was there on Gavins final night w/o even knowing it was closing. The Wawa across the street just started selling beer. What's the new place called...Anthony's?.Antonios?...something like that.

Christ, it's warmer now than at 4pm...56F

Anthony's

Wawa sells beer are you joking lol

That one does. (across from Anthony's) They literally have a table where you can buy beer, sit down and get shitfaced if you desire. I read it on reddit. Stopped in to use the debit machine and it's true.

This morning TWC noted Marquette already has had 21" of snow -- but that's 10" below normal so far. Marquette is on the retire-to list. Great thing is, up there you want a warm winter -- keep the lakes from freezing over so the snow machine keeps crankin' away!

The nation as a whole is below normal. I'm getting a bad feeling about this winter (not cancel) but something like 10-15"...

Where's the snow? Snow coverage in US for early December lowest in 18 years.

^Man, that's a slap in the face....

That's like what happens at the summit of Mt. Washington, NH every year. :o  But then their tallest mountain on the big island - Mauna Loa (which is under the Warning) is like twice the height (at 13,679') of Mt. Washington (at 6,288').

Hawai'i has been in a drought so they are getting some beneficial rain elsewhere (although flooding too).

No euro map?

Didn't see euro. Saw the gfs is still stubborn....but the ICON and CMC say game on. That's the system I was chirping about possibly doing something as that sysyem is the catalyst for the pattern change the ensembles have been show for after the 9th. So yes, I'm on board for a trackable event Dec 8/9 before things deteriorate for a period. Hoping we can get a minor event out of it at least. What does the euro show anyway?

This seems pretty realistic given nina climo tbh. Something to watch down along 95 anyway. I was down the shore yesterday,  and the winds coming off the ocean were very warm for this time of year. Im going to say let's hope for a weaker system or wave that slides under us with this threat. Dont want much easterly wind component right now in a marginal situation.
