Went to town, roads were a mess when I first left but the big plow trucks finally got to 209 when I headed back.  Russ Ave in Waynesville was a wreck an an 74 wasn’t too hot either.  Had heavy snow driving up into the mountains at the house but that must of been the tail end of this opening act as it’s just flurries now.  Whiteout conditions due to wind down low around the pastures with no wind break when I first left.  6-7” readings throughout, 6.5” on my deck rail that is serving as my “official” board. Want to make a run at a foot if this backside stays juices and swings through just right but I think 8-10” looks like a strong possibility at least. 27 over 25.5 currently here.

Pouring snow in Boone now. Still not a ton on the ground but looks like the heaviest is coming in now. Saw a Toyota Solara driving in the snow, that’s a first for me seeing that.

Yea I hear that. The dendrites are putrid right now but it is absolutely beautiful outside.
