Beyond frustrating. Why can’t we ever get fall weather in fall anymore?

I am still of the opinion that its early for real "fall weather".  I was and am still hoping for a negative departure month though.  That is still up in the air.  Probably a positive by about 2-3  degrees as we hit Sept 20th (using GFS data.)  MDT wise the normal is still in the upper 70's on Sept 20.

To me, that’s the 1991-2020 normal, which is like a degree and a half above the 1981-2010 normal due to the ridiculously warm Septembers we had in the second half of the 2010s, which is exactly what I’m grumbling about.

Log cabin was not open (when we went by-but still "open"). Wonderbar is for sale.....Burnin barrel still great food, but SLOOOWWWW service.  Coach stop inn was where we ended up.  Worst meal I've had there in some time....like i'm scared to go back.

They all are struggling to get/keep help. I consider it First World probs....so, we order an extra beer and roll w/ it.

Hope this free money-pay for vote stuff ends soon.  We've had multiple positions open....and in last 2 weeks here at work, we've started to see a surge, but they are concerned at hiring because they know many have been riding the free train as long as they can, and our "post covid" work environ is lean and mean.

Damn, we're running out of places to grab a beer up there.  Haven't been to the Coach Stop Inn, will have to pop in the next time I'm up.  Couldn't agree more about the state of the labor market.

Ehhhhh I don't want a COLD October. I like October with lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s early and 50s late. October is my favorite month, a crisp day with a 55 high is A++++++.

That'll feel cold compared to this season of swamp ass.....

I'll jump on that train any day in October.

GFS holding strong with sending some lower temps and DP's our way after Wed.  Going to be an interesting run as to where Sept lies with departures as I figure we are in the -3 or -4 area going into next week and then that will be punched by 3 days with +5-10 Departures

thats all i saw when reading #biasedmuch

Cowboys, Eagles, Patriots, Phillies, Yankees, Rangers, Lakers, Celtics, Buckeyes, Wolverines, Crimson Tide would all cause me to do so.

Only the Yankees of that bunch of Teams give the Cowboys much stress of being replaced as the most popular team in America.  NBA and MLB are eliminated automatically.
