Lee Goldberg just told people to shelter in place and don't go anywhere tonight.  They should shut down all roads and highways to make sure everyone stays home and we don't need to have any water rescues like we did last time.  No one should be allowed outside tonight period.

Harrisburg had 5.17” of rain as of 4:20. That is the 2nd wettest September day and only 5th day overall with 5” or more of rain. Records go back to 1888.

* Flood Warning for the Raritan River At Manville. 

* From late tonight to Friday morning. 

* At 4:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 4.4 feet. 

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet. 

* Major flooding is forecast. 

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 20.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning.

Rain is quickly expanding eastward now and it's getting windy.

There is also talk of expanding the Tornado Watch north and east to include NYC and Long Island, we could all be in a 10% risk of tornadoes tonight!

Mayhem about to ensue in NYC.  Looks like this is gonna come in like a wall.  I live on Roosevelt Island 11 floors up facing west and it looks mighty dark to the west of Manhattan!

It does appear based off current radar maybe the last 2 runs of the HRRR are too dry or NW with the low for places like NYC and Long Island but it’s hard to tell just yet
