Those “above normal heat for the foreseeable future” and “OMG it’s summer until October” posts don’t look too good right about now”.

Lol

People never learn that long-range looks are volatile as hell and can't be taken verbatim. That said...bring on that 06z GFS look!

Local CoCoRaHs reported 1.60" from yesterday. Makes a lot of sense compared to the radar estimates of 0.80", which were obviously too low just based on how hard it rained for some of the time.

Again...the wind was really impressive and it was a lot more consistent than most of your standard thunderstorms.

Missed almost everything yesterday and overnight, (a few sprinkles).  Now getting some gentle, steady rain for the morning.

We always seem to finish with some back-side development with lows off the coast. Despite the fact that we generally suck at winter, we often see light snow stick around over our area as lows pull away, and we've certainly seen the same with coastal-type lows in the "rainy season."

Me on waking up: I bet that rain cooled things off.

Me stepping outside and immediately being drenched with..."air": Oh.

What is it, 10 million percent humidity this AM?

The rain cooled things off to make it match the humidity.  So instead of 85/75 we have 75/75.  I like my coffee black and my air super saturated.
