If this hook is real. someone SW of it 50 miles or so would get absolutely crushed by rain. It's like the 2/25/10 storm on steroids. And east of it would get a really nasty surge, maybe right into Providence. Hopefully it's wrong.

I was thinking that too.  Didn't we have a storm like this in Dec of 1994 or something like that?  It was  a hybrid tropical noreaster and hooked into JFK, do you remember it?

So basically we could get the kind of rains Delaware got in Sandy? That would be like a foot of rain.

I get between 5-6" of rain on the Ukie. Impressive. Where that hook occurs will be important on who gets what and how much rainfall wise.
