Hands down--best day of the summer.  It'll be tough to beat.

NWS knows.

NEAR TERM /THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT/... As of 333 PM EDT Saturday...The forecast for the next 12 hours continues to feature pleasant fall-like weather and increasing clouds. Temperatures are in the upper 60s to mid 70s, and dewpoints are in the 40s to near 50. It`s about as perfect as the weather can get for a Saturday afternoon.

Last night’s wx was perfect too. I was able to head down to RI to do some stargazing. First time capturing images like this. The whole summer has sucked for doing anything like this so I’m glad I could make one night work.

Wait..was this the unaided eye, too ?

That’s what autumn is for. Not July 31

Man the best day of the summer today. Absolutely epic. Full on barbecue no bugs, sun was hot, shade was perfect. Men in suits taking pics everywhere.  You should have come outside the brewery

Playing some sick Uno and Farkle on the screen porch tonight. T shirt and shorts.   Wish it would last.

Surely with these temps you must be dressed head to toe in flannel and have several blankets over you too?  Maybe a portable heater in order to survive on a porch tonight?

A couple of top 10s the past several few days.  Just suffering through this air mass.  Asking all the families picnicking at the picnic tables, “isn’t this just awful?”

Today was nice but yesterday was not very nice. I was eating lunch in Montpelier on the deck at Buddy’s and between the wind and the showers blowing through, we moved inside. Late afternoon and evening was gorgeous.

Thursday was a winner for sure.
