While we are living in blissful ignorance that 99.999766754% of cases are the unvaccinated (who are also creating all the variants), other countries are starting to come clean. Here is Iceland (interesting timing):

https://www.icelandreview.com/society/covid-19-in-iceland-vaccination-has-not-led-to-herd-immunity-says-chief-epidemiologist

Quote

While data shows vaccination is reducing the rate of serious illness due to COVID-19 in Iceland, the country’s Chief Epidemiologist Þórólfur Guðnason says it has not led to the herd immunity that experts hoped for. In the past two to three weeks, the Delta variant has outstripped all others in Iceland and it has become clear that vaccinated people can easily contract it as well as spread it to others, Þórólfur stated in a briefing this morning.

The current social restrictions will remain in place until August 13. The Chief Epidemiologist says the government must make the final call on next steps in response to the current wave of infection. Health authorities have sent a formal memorandum to the government expressing concern about the heavy strain on the healthcare system cause by the current record rate of infection.

Yet people here are STILL pushing the narratives.

Idk seems like this only happens on this thread and it’s being extrapolated out. I can tell you, I can care less if someone is vax or not.

.

And it’s not as simple as vaxed/unvaxed, those who have had the virus have antibodies and I would think that doesn’t require vaccination.

NVAX earnings release yesterday 100% efficacy against delta variant.   4 x boosters on original covid. Absolutely criminal it's not FDA approved here.

It's actually Novavax's fault. They keep delaying their submission to the FDA. The FDA is waiting and will approve it quickly when they submit. The FDA is saying they will still be willing go give NVAX emergency use authorization, despite the Pfizer vaccine getting full approval, because they really want a protein vaccine available as an option. It's frustrating for a lot of people that NVAX has been moving so slowly with this.

If the CDC had decided to actually track breakthroughs, you'd see similar numbers here to those in Israel, UK, Iceland, etc. There are many more breakthrough cases here than is being reported. Time to stop using cases as the basis of public policy!

Jab Juice is poison right bro!!! And useless at that!!

That "cant prevent transmission" is garbage science. Its based on the P-town event. Which, as has been discussed, shouldn't be used to make nationwide policy. Most vaxed people don't have enough viral load to spread it anywhere. However, that last sentence in her statement is what's being used to push more people to get vaxed through pressure. But as long as there are unvaxed people, the vaxed can spread it (BS), so we all have to wear the face diapers and undergo restrictions. What they are doing is using the restrictions on the vaxd so we'll put pressure on the rest of the population to get a shot so we can get out of the face diapers.

As long as the CDC keeps that narrative and the metrics of cases instead of deaths and hospitalizations, we'll be masked in certain locations forever. It's all sick game at this point.

I think it's based on more than P-town. There is ample evidence from overseas that breakthrough cases are way undercounted in this country.

That’s fine that you don’t think so and maybe you’ll be right.

But it is very clear cut from a legal perspective. It doesn’t get anymore clear cut tbh. People can and will appeal to the SC but I don’t even know that they would take the case given that the legal precedent has been set…since 1905.

Variola major, the most common form of smallpox, had a historic fatality rate 10-20 times greater (among the unvaccinated) than that of COVID-19.  Might this difference have a bearing on the power of stare decisis?

I also think a lot of this has to do with the start of school, we go back down here next week. There is full court press to have us go back with masks

Breakthrough is different than being able to transmit at any significant level

Right, but haven't we also been hearing that the level of delta virus in the sinuses of the breakthrough cases is like 1,000 times that of alpha?

There are a large number of vaccinated cases being recorded by other countries. This isn't a smoking gun that the vaccinated are causing a lot of spread, but it leans that way.

That was from the P-town data. those people were packed together like sardines. And from what I've been able to hear, the amount in the nose went down really fast in the vaxed (the viral particles didn't infect the cells of the airway, that's what that data tells me). Doenst mean much if its "in the nose". It needs to actively infect the airway to be readily transmissible over time.

Hopefully this agenda works.  We're seeing States with lower vaccination rates seeing large month over month increase.

Isn't it your immune system that causes the issues that lead to serious complications or death just like the 1918 flu pandemic? Basically the virus does it's thing and after about a week to 10 days, you either recover or get seriously ill, correct? So, the vaccines basically allow your immune system to recognize Covid as something it's seen before which allows your immune system to be more prepared for it as opposed to completely caught off guard. This makes sense as to why most vaccinated people don't get seriously ill from it. The same thing should eventually occur naturally as the virus burns through the population. It won't go away but it'll just be another virus that causes cold symptoms. Unfortunately, it would seem to me that measures to curb the transmission of the virus is just delaying the ability for it to burn through the population and become endemic.

Is it wearing a mask? Or is it vaccinated? Please keep ample distance, out of an abundance of caution of course

Ya watch out for those puffins. Always flying around. They could carry bird flu. Maybe lockdown?
