Bad thing is many areas have over 3 inches the past 2 days already. We have about 1.5 here and still raining currently. Water levels are still pretty low though thankfully.

We picked up 1.50 this pm. We kayaked the upper French broad around rosman today and the water was fairly low.

I see there was a slide into a house on Wolf Mountain in Jackson County. With Fred strengthening before landfall, a bit concerned we may get a bit more than previously expected the next 48 to 60 hours.

Yeah the county in a whole has gotten a lot of rain this past week. I think with Fred strengthening that spells danger for WNC and the lee side of the mountains.
