Yep, once things start heating up and you get a 10-14 day dry spell, things start changing in a hurry.

Radar RIGHT NOW looks fairly promising for some rain.  I know the models pull that first batch a bit north of you but its further south on Radar that expected.  Will see.

...HIGHER ELEVATION WET SNOW THIS AFTERNOON...

A steady, soaking rainfall is expected over much of the
Commonwealth this afternoon and early evening. However, across the
higher elevations of the northern tier, as temperatures drop for
a time early this afternoon, a transition to wet snow is
expected. The main time frame for wet snow is between about 2 and
7 pm.

Minor accumulations are anticipated over colder, grassy surfaces,
but paved surfaces should stay primarily wet. Thus, we don`t
expect any impact on driving conditions.

As temperatures slowly come upward late in the day and this
evening, any wet snow is expected to change back to rain by 7 or 8
pm.

Perry county(my county) is in this, but I am in the lower elevation, so I highly doubt that I’ll see flakes today....but I don’t mind being in this HWO!

At 1:15PM it is 44 degrees with a sustained wind of 20 and a wind chill of 35.  Happy Valentines day everyone.

Finished with .03" of rain. Cloudy, a few breaks in the sky emerging and sitting at 50.0 degrees. (It did drop from 52 down to 47 during my 40 minutes of light rain,  but temps are starting to rise again.)

Why stop in May.  June or bust.

I used to like you... :P

Anyway, 44.8f and 0.06" in the gauge on my new station. Winds are very light here, though. Not even the leaves on the trees are moving.

I have to get this in before 3-4 months of warm weather.  As Canderson said, May is the new March or something like that. LOL.  Winds are howling out of the East here.  20-25 with gusts to 30.

I guess maybe the wind will move east later on, but it's so crazy calm here right now. As for Canderson's "seasonal adjustment", I do believe hes onto something. Octobers do seem to be much warmer than when I was a kid, and the same with May being colder and wetter.
