Edit: Nvm, I can answer my own question. From the IND AFD update a few minutes ago:

Thermal profiles indicate that dendrite size should increase marginally over the
next few hours, coupled with the deeper moisture aloft.

It actually looks like they improved a little bit at my location (dead center Carmel) while we were talking about it.
