I know right! While it’s great to see the maps I am still very wary of them. Even half of that would be fantastic - I just hope this doesn’t end in another disaster lol. It looks like from north central to ne ga to the upstate should at least see some snow this is our first good chance of the year really. It’s 38 here with filtered sun - fingers crossed big time on this one ☝️

If you’re above 1600 feet in northeast Georgia or SC you are a lock for 3+ inches at this point. That’s all the elevation you need to make the boundary layer no issue.

That is what I am hoping for, I like to see the wild maps but realistically the higher numbers usually do not verify. Thinking 2-3” is looking pretty good as long as nothing screws it up over the next few hours lol. Rabun probably a good 4”with higher elevation. It’s about time ne ga and the upstate reel one in.  I hate it when our snow bubble from the mountains keeps us rain while snow is all around

I hope we all get a foot.  However, we don’t get good snows when it’s 50 degrees just hours before the precip starts.  Exceptions are when we have a cold air mass pressing in, and that is not the case tonight.  I hope I’m wrong, but I suspect tonight will be similar to last weekend.
