Very unusual day today temperature-wise.  My overnight low this morning was an amazing 56.5 degrees.  Right now at 9:30pm I've dropped to a new daily low of 54.9 degrees with a staggering low humidity of 25% and a dewpoint of just 22F.  I had a low humidity this afternoon of just 19%.  These low humidity's are much more common a month from now in mid April when temps reach the 60s or 70s with dewpoints in the 20s producing relative humidity's all the way down to 10% sometimes.  Glad we are returning to much more "normal" temps for March beginning tomorrow.  Upper 70's yesterday here were prematurely toasty.

I have several Boggs , Clemens rookie cards . I have 1 Rice rc.

I wish my boxes and boxes of 80's cards were worth what we thought there were going to be.  If I had invested all that money in stocks, I would surely be up a million dollars vs what my 50 Steve Jeltz rookies are worth.

That’s my Buccos, putting up a 10-spot in the top of the first and still finding a way to lose!

Steve "nobody Jeltz" as Chris Berman called him, was so good that he put Lancaster's Tommy Herr on the bench that game.

My love of baseball started in 1972, and by the 1980s I knew every MLB roster by memory. Some of those years in the mid 80s I saw over 50 games a season between the O's, Phils, and Pirates. I especially loved going to Three Rivers without tickets and getting seats behind the visitors dugout 2 hours before gametime. I was at a Monday night game against the Padres that drew just over 4,000. It was a nice night, too.

If I remember correctly Tom Herr was struggling with an injury and when the Phil's went down 10-0, they brought in The Jet to replace him.  I will never forget the call on one of Jeltz's  home runs.  Harry Kallas said "could it, could it, could it!  3 run homerun Steve jeltz!"  (Something like that).

I've despised the Phillies since I was 5 years old. Having said that, as a lifelong diehard fan of baseball and not just the Orioles, I have many fond memories of games at the Vet, and listening to Harry and Richie as a kid was awesome. Those 2 were so much fun to listen to.
