Yet the radar looks very underwhelming. Looks like a stretch to get an inch or so. Am I wrong?

Basically, the first line of precip slides past, the lee side forms, and precip builds back quickly.  Can see that happening right now to the west and southwest of Knoxville.  Fingers crossed modeling is correct!

Hope so, but seems like high bust potential, 

otherwise I’m depending on snow squalls and showers to nickel and dime an inch.
