Ha!  We had our White Thanksgiving, but that one last event may have screwed us for Xmas.  Only 0.40” water frozen on the ground right now up here.

Speaking of IJD, time to install?

Nothing like waking up to dews of 55+ on Xmas Morning (7am).

So this is it huh. 2 to 3 inches of rain, thunderstorms, winds mixing down to 60s inland 70s at the coast, offshore waves to 30 feet, coastal flooding, inland street and maybe river flooding. Merry Christmas

It’s hard to imagine looking out at this deep snow and winter landscape with snow on all the trees, roofs, massive banks.. all wiped out in a matter of hours. But it’s coming. It’s so disheartening. Replaced with wires, and trees downed , branches on cars etc.

Yeah it’s slowing down every run too so it’s going to be tropical most of the day on Xmas instead of the front coming through early morning or overnight.

Prob technically a white Xmas in many places at 7am but mudslides by lunchtime/afternoon.

So sad. Mother Nature doesn’t give a damn about Christmas, and I guess 2020 should end this way. What a kick in the balls.

Small tsunamis from area lakes interrupting Christmas dinners where folks still have power

Said the night wind to the snowy land
Dew you see what I see?
Raining from the sky snowy land
Dew you see what I see?

A storm, a storm
Torching in the night
With a gale melting all the white
With a gale melting all the white

Said the snowy land to the Tolland boy
Dew you hear what I hear?
Rumbles through the sky Tolland boy
Dew you hear what I hear?

A roar, a roar
High above the trees
Dropping oaks right into the sea
Dropping oaks right into the sea

An artistic, comedic, and rhetorical masterpiece

LOL, it does help soothe the pain when you make songs out of it and insert some sort of Kevin or Tolland reference.

Found this from 2018
