I think Binghamton and the Okemo/Ludlow area are the ground zeros. Lots of people on social media with legit 40” or more OTG... that’s not total, that’s on the ground! This woman on Okemo Ski Patrol said they are 1600ft and have a legit 41” of Depth. Says it’s almost chest deep on her in the driveway. That's something one might expect at Mammoth or Rainier! Both visibility (1/4 mile) and flake size are at their lowest in Augusta. In fact the record for snowfall was 6 inches on Haleakala from 1938 up until recently. In Dec 2016 Mauna Kea got approximately 2 feet of snow. If her time stamps are correct (no reason not to believe it), they were getting 8” per hour rates. Actually, they were getting 6” SNOW DEPTH increase in 45 minutes... at those snow depths, there has to be settling. I wonder if this was measured on a cleared area if it was actually 8” in 45 min or even more? I mean this is some of the highest documented rates I’ve seen.
