It's what I did in Feb 13. That was heavier snow though, took like 5 hours.

Then there was late Feb 2010, with 10.7" mush and 2.68" LE , followed by 1.1" for 33-34F RA.  This left about 7" of stuff with perhaps 40% water atop an unfrozen (thus high-friction) driveway.  Was far harder to clear with the scoop than the 24.5" a year earlier.

Father took five measurements, average 16.5" storm total...NWS ALY has reports of 16.5 in New Milford and 14 in Torrington, but at 7am.looks just over a foot in Boxboro, but I did not measure with anything, about the same in Marlboro, can anyone close confirm? Looks like my house missed the real goods by about 50 miles, but completely satisfied with 16+...my call of 12-20 statewide for CT looks good except for the SWCT area, looks like they got a bit screwed, but still ended up with a good amount. Awesome start to the season, for my back yard at least, only had 5" from the first two events.

this was mine as well, i think most of the state will be in tha range but like u said SWCT probably 8-12 range. Well see, ill do a map when every report is in and finalized probably tomorrow sometime. When did the accumulating snow finally come to and end in that area?

I would say spots up there actually have 40" on the ground.

Not only do you have an obscene band, it’s also at like 1500ft or higher too.  I don’t think it matters too much but might have gotten just a little bit extra in those 1500-2200ft inhabited elevations in that area.

Given what models were spitting out for a week I’ll take my 7” in Bridgton and run. Just got back from Sunday River, found the northern edge maybe 1.5” there. There’s spots in bethel with grass poking through, just bizarre. Absolutely insane totals you guys are reporting in NH and southern VT!
