The SSWE looks like  a Fail for us on the main LR models, leaving out the JMA.         Do not know what the latest is there.

The benefit over last winter is that blobs of Arctic air may cause a surprise event.        There is no mention of real cold or snow here for this month.       Western Europe is sitting pretty.       Then Russia/Siberia.        We get the leftovers, if any.

In reality these outputs, whether Good or Bad for us are garbage.      We know that when the data for the Northern Winter are complied----there will be 4x the surface area shown as AN compared to the BN.       Just as it is every month, every season and annually.        Quite silly to try to place that patch(es) of Blue ahead of time.

Courtesy of WeatherBell.   The EURO did not update yet, but it was the same as below for D,J,F.

I'll never forget what the Eagles did tonight.  The Giants suck and don't deserve anything but that was beyond words.

they should have their first round draft pick taken away as punishment and given to the Giants

fwiw I dont believe ANY NFC east team should be allowed into the playoffs

I’m going to guess the future. We will start getting major hits from GFS to Cmc and UkMet the next few cycles for next tuesdays event. Than we will be tracking a major nor’easter and all of sudden by the time it’s all said and done we’ll be getting snow to sleet back to snow like the one we just had a few weeks back.

You will have a sandwich and it will be cold and a foot long and it will be the best sandwich ever so you'll have 2 more! 3 feet of sandwiches!

it was a footlong chicken breast but due to ratios the bread was only 6".  all the vegetables fell off and i got mustard all over my face.  my worst forecast bust since i burned that pot roast Christmas 2017.

I always wondered what our winter temps would be like if we just sat in our own airmass. No injections of cold from the north or warmth from the south. I think this is just slightly cooler then what you would get as we do have a little northerly component to the flow.

We just have to face the facts that in all likelihood this will be the 3rd consecutive winter where the PAC refuses to cooperate despite the overall pattern as a whole reshuffles each ensuing winter. This winter season would hurt the most with a -NAO and we still can’t cash in. Just mind boggling.

Agree

We have to stop getting our hopes up for anything in the long range. People have to stop posting about the stupid SSW. They rarely work for our area. Majority of the cold always end up on the wrong side.

I'd settle for a March 2019 repeat. At least we saw 2 decent storms to start the month. Expect huge storms and you'll most likely be disappointed
