You can see where the jackpot zone will reside...actually may see two jackpot zones. Actually even looks like a bit of a subsidence zone right now, though that should fill in.

Wind picking up, some good gusts ~25mph.  Here we go!

[9 AM: Moderate-Heavy Snow Band] Moderate to brief heavy snow in the red-shaped area will progress eastward into central MA and northeast CT in the next hour. Expect a brief period of 1/2 to 1/4 mile visby and a quick inch of snow resulting in difficult travel.

Is this the first time SNE has seen snow from the remnants of a hurricane?

The Zeta remnants moved on quickly. IMO, this is purely part II (the trailing low).

My son is weenieing out and remote learning. Not a good combo.

Gonna be a strange year when snow days are not in the equation for the "distance learning" kids.

That i can recall yea. I remember Sandy producing some serious snow in the apps but obviously we got all rain. Can't recall any, no.

Wow big fat flakes outside! Wish the temp was a little lower and the ground wasn’t so wet, otherwise this would be some great accumulating snow.
