Currently, Bay Bridge traffic is held in both directions.

Traffic Holds/Bridge Closure (sustained wind speeds exceeding 55 mph for a continuous period of 10 mins or more; or wind gusts persistently exceed 55 mph over a period of 15 mins) In the event of a sudden increase of sustained wind speeds or wind gusts that could jeopardize life or property, the MDTA may elect to discontinue the movement of all traffic across the bridge.

Looking at the satellite loops sun may be into the DC metro by midday. The Baltimore metro by the early/mid afternoon.

On top of everything else it’s been a while since I dipped below 70. It’s 68 right now, down 4 degrees since 5:30am. With the wind it almost feels chilly. This thing is gonna be outta Md region pretty quickly at this rate.

When I was down in South Beach for Fourth of July this year.. I saw people walking around in sweat shirts in the morning... and I dont think it ever made it below 80..

It is amazing how our bodies adjust!

I live near there, just had sustained 42mph winds at my weather station, but it’s dropped back to mid-30’s now.

E. Shore got the bullseye in terms of rain it looks like. I've gotten 2.87" since this thing began yesterday afternoon. vs 2.58 at DCA thus far.

Looks like rain to light rain remaining till this thing pulls out.

Just drove in to the office down I-270, just some good rain, only a few spots of any water build up.  No real wind to speak of either.  I’ve seen more intense rain in many thunderstorms.  So it does seem all the heavier stuff (rain and wind) is staying East of I-95.

Gusting pretty good here now, and pouring. Looks like the center is right over the mouth of the bay. I would be in the northeastern eye wall, if there was one lol.

 4.3" now.

Not sure I've seen that many tornado warnings in the state of Delaware.   NJ is next.

Anne Arundel County Fire Dispatch is on condition red apparently.

Happens a lot. People will call 911 to report the fact that it's raining and demand it stop.

Seen Montgomery do it during severe storms and during snowstorms plenty of times.
